general informationArrival:
You book your flight with the travel-agency of your choice. Check the offers for hotels, too. Sometimes it is cheaper to book 2 weeks with hotel instead of only taking the flight. I will pick you up from the hotel and bring you back after the tour. Of course I can help you to find the right hotel for you and your purse. Everything is possible from low-budget till luxury.
What I need from you:
the correct address of your hotel where I should pick you up surname and given-name from all members of the group
the date when you want to start and how many days you plan for the tour Brevet, logbook and a health-certificate from the doctor one chocolate-bar (my favourite is Noisette) ;-)
Important things to know:
the Passport must be valid more than 6 month after your arrival here the maximum length of stay as a tourist in Indonesia is 60 days always have some copies of your papers with you- just in case
- Baggage-insurance and international health insurance are recommended
- get a guide-book because the more you know about the country the more you understand about the country and the people
The situation in Bali at the moment:
The 12th October 2002 will be an unforgettable day in Bali’s history. The shock of a bomb in a famous nightclub sat deep. Although the Balinese struggle hard at the moment it is fascinating to watch how positive they look to their future. Bali didn’t loose its charm and people are as friendly as before. And by the way it is sad but it is true that in the meantime the terrorism has its fingers everywhere on the world.

LUGGAGE
Bali is a shopping-paradise. My advice: Arrive here with only the most necessary things in the suitcase and go shopping here!
for the international flight you can take 20 kg luggage with you. As a diver you have 10-20 kg more – ask your travel-agency
Light clothing, sandals and one pair of shoes in which you can walk over stones are enough
Bring 1 small towel for the tour and of course whatever you need
TEMPERATURES AND RAINING-SEASON
Air: daytime 31° C, night time 25° C, during the whole year
Water: 27° C – 30° C , during the whole year

The visibility underwater is sometimes reduced because of the high waves and the rain
